Is Biden Weak and Wrong?

When Obama said in a his January 2008 speech:

"It's time to reject the counsel that says the American people would rather have someone who is strong and wrong than someone who is weak and right. It's time to say that we are the party that is going to be strong and right."

everybody thought America has found gold in an innovative and refreshing politician with the suave rhetoric that calms the heart.

But Joe Biden said at a fundraiser as follows:

"Mark my words," the Democratic vice presidential nominee warned at the second of his two Seattle fundraisers Sunday. "It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We're about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don't remember anything else I said. Watch, we're gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy."

And later on he says:

"Because it's not gonna be apparent initially, it's not gonna be apparent that we're right."

Ok what does that mean: It sounds to me that Biden gives us an outlook on weak and right.

If he would think Obama is strong he would not need to already ask for the people's support for a possible future decision. And if Biden would think that their decision will be right, why already apologizing for it?

And unpopular decision sounds to me like war. Biden already prepares supporters that their opinion on a possible conflict will be wrong? The Chosen One will be right? Is this crisis or war going to be a lot different than Iraq or Afghanistan? Or not?

So the question is: Do you want a President who gets tested by the International community to see if he is up for the job, or someone nobody dares to challenge?
