Tom Brokaw: We don't know a lot about Barack Obama!

I watched the whole 56 minutes of Tom Brokaw and Charlie Rose. Boy was that a snoozer.
I guess I'm used to the fast pace internet, but if you suffer from insomnia, this program is a great remedy.

What was surprising about the interview was that they actually touched on something, the left usually doesn't want to point out too much: After 2 years of brilliant campaigning we still don't really know much about Barack Obama.

Hey tomorrow this guy might be elected and we don't know what he is going to do about China, Russia, Venezuela, who his closest advisers going to be and what his real agenda will be - center left or true to his own heart lefter than left

Obama, who was never really vetted by the press, rose to fame with a few speeches (2004 convention speech, Martin Luther king speech, Denver convention speech) but was able to run below the radar on the issues.

So even after reading his two biographies, looking at his history, looking at this speeches and 2 years of campaign, we still don't know who Barack Obama is. We probably know more about Sarah Palin or Joe the Plummer, but unfortunately those guys are not running for president.

Good luck, America. You will need it!

The people don't want to know too much about Obama. They knew too much about Bush and they eventually hated what they knew. MORON. Obama was voted in as a centrist to take care of the economy and to get rid of the far right's stench in mainstream politics. Goodbye Bush!
