The 44th President: Barack Obama

In this monumental election in the year 2008 in America, Barack Obama has achieved what many have only dreamed to achieve and overcome. America has put aside the race issue and elected its first bi-racial President.

The race issue has become a major issue in this election, but it is very touching to watch Jesse Jackson with tears in his eyes. For himself, this is a monumental climb in the eye of America. Having fought through the civil rights era, and tirelessly working for race to be put aside is spectacular in and of itself.

America can only hope that Barack Obama lives up to the hype that he has placed before himslef.

John McCain says that "America makes history." That is so true!
