Is Obama Actually a Lousy Christian?

What Christian is Obama really? How strong is his faith in God? And how important is that?

Well nobody knows what Christian Obama really is, except for him. But I still find it important to point out that a Presidential candidate still has to make believe that he is Christian, otherwise he would not even have the slightest chance of winning an election.

Secular progressives might be dominating the media and universities, but in politics it is still necessary to pose as a Christian, even if you are not practicing that faith with a lot of conviction. The label still counts. And Obama was definitely aware of that.

To his credit Obama said publically in the O'Reilly interview in September 2008 that he is only going to church once or twice a month (referring to the time before the election) - So people should have already known that he is not a frequent church goer and maybe we should not be surprised that he is not attending church more now.

According to Politico.com Obama has chosen the last 3 weekends the gym over the church.

Both President-elect George W. Bush and President-elect Bill Clinton managed to attend church in the weeks after they were elected.

One could argue, well his physical health is more important to meet the challenges as a President, but would we also be concerned about his spiritual well-being, his reasoning in the context of a higher purpose.

Obama was an infrequent churchgoer on the campaign trail, though he did make a series of appearances in the pews and pulpits of South Carolina churches ahead of that heavily religious state's primary.

Does it really matter if he is going to church or not? Couldn't you be a Christian at home or at work? Of course you could, but part of practicing the Christian faith is to go to Church Services, so people might not like the idea of a Christian who prefers the Gym over the church.

And Obama has two lame excuses for not attending during or after the campaign.

1. Too much attention: "Because they have a great deal of respect for places of worship, they do not want to draw unwelcome or inappropriate attention to a church not used to the attention their attendance would draw," said the aide.

2. Haven't found a church yet: The Obama aide said the family "look[s] forward to finding a church community in Washington, D.C."

Obama is actually the first president in a while who hasn't found the time to go to church within the first month of his election.

You guys are number three in importance on my writing schedule.. Have you noticed that Obama is talking like a neocon? Or are you so blinded by your own doctrine that..

Don't feel so self important. We might like you her but we easily exist without you. Besides that you don't even rate on my reading or writing list.

Anyways we realize Obama is, more specifically, acting like Bush 1. I think his switching course is an exercise in hillarity. That doesn't mean for one instant that I am trusting in his knee-jerk Progressive side not to take hold.

But your last question brings up an interesting point about you. Looking at your last comment on the NYC regulation. I would like to pose a question to you; Are you so blind by your political dogma that you wold allow one person to suffer because the "system" is flawed? Again where is the Compassionate Socialist?

You haven't answered my question and therefore I see no reason to answer your rhetoric.

Oh Boris, you digress to stupidity so easily. Your last attempt at steering the question away from yourself and your system of flawed thinking is nothing more than an inability to answer my question.

And I suggest you look at a couple of posts above because I did answer your question, in a dumb down tone so you could understand it. I see it is still lost on you. Tis' ashame.
